Performance
You can enjoy more horsepower and efficiency with the Silverado EV than the conventional gas-powered Silverado lineup. However, if you need more payload or towing capacity than the EV offers, you'll need to go with one of the traditional Silverado models. The Chevy Silverado EV is a new all-electric pickup truck that has a feature called Wide Open Watts that allows you to access the full power from the Silverado EV's batteries. With this feature, you can access up to 754 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque.
The truck can go from 0-60 mph in as little as 4.5 seconds while having access to up to 400 miles of range on a full charge. It uses the new Ultium Platform and Ultifi software to improve the performance. You can enjoy software updates and options for customizing settings to your driving style.
When it comes to charging, you can have a Level 2 charger installed at home with options for backup Level 1 charging. With its range, you can use the myChevrolet Mobile App with Energy Assist, plan your routes, and locate charging stations while out on the road. The tech even lets you check the battery status right from the app. When you need to do some towing, you can get up to 10,000 pounds of max towing on the RST trim, with the WT capable of towing up to 20,000 pounds.
