Powering the Custom Truck trim is a turbocharged 2.7-liter 310 hp four-cylinder engine attached to an eight-speed automatic transmission. This is the least powerful engine available, but the Custom makes up for it with a fuel economy of 20/22 miles per gallon and a towing strength of 9,500 pounds.
Outside of having good fuel economy and a strong engine, the Custom is also a trim outside the highest model that offers the unique features. For instance, this trim can be configured as an extended or crew cab. Also available for this model are cabin features like satellite radio, Wi-Fi capability, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 120-volt cabin outlet.
