With the removal of the turbocharged four-cylinder, every Equinox trim is now powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter 170 horsepower four-cylinder and is attached to a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard, with all-wheel drive being optional. And when properly equipped, this engine and frame can haul upwards of 3,500 pounds.
